My initial reaction to this was "what is henna?".
Henna is a flowering plant found in subtropical Africa, Asia and Australia that is used to produce an red-orange dye that is commonly used as hair/wool/leather dye and traditional body art.
Upon further reaction was this was a very intreguing opening for what proved to be a singularly uninteresting and unengaging story that I skimmed over. Rereading this opening made me feel disappointed that the story wasnt more engaging.
